What is the best Affiliate Wordpress Theme for creating Affiliate Marketing blogs? Many affiliates that search hours to find the perfect wordpress theme to build their affiliate site. I have tested dozens of different WP themes before I found my favorite themes.

What is the perfect Affiliate Wordpress Theme?

For me the perfect Wordpress theme to build successful affiliate blogs must meet the following:

• a clean look, black font on white background, I don’t like distractions
• I prefer 1 or 2 column themes for maximum conversions
• easy to install and use without installing code
• be flexible to customize (adding headers, sidebars, changing post )
• SEO optimized
• support new Wordpress releases

When you are just starting out and building your first affiliate blogs the free themes I mentioned above should get the work done quite properly. The following two paid Wordpress themes are much more powerful and can be customized in any way you want.

There are thousands of free and paid Wordpress themes available. I cut it down to four which all
haved worked all very effectively for my affiliate blogs. Currently Thesis is my preferred theme.
The import and export function of the settings is a real time saver for cloning blogs.

Submitting blog RSS feeds to RSS directories like Feedage.com or Feedagg.com is powerful way of generating top rankings in Google for your keyword.  A blog normally has one RSS feed which looks something like:

www.yourblog.com/feed

and you can submit it once to each RSS directory.

If you want to fully automate the whole process and are a more advanced Wordpress user Web Traffic Genius Software is a great choice.

3. Contact Form 7 – lets you create a nice contact form and is simple to use.

4. Google XML Sitemaps – this Wordpress plugin creates a special XML sitemap that help search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo to easier find your posts and pages.

7. Max Banner Ads – a great plugin to create banner ads almost anywhere you like in your blog (the free version shows a powered by Max Banner Ads link at the bottom, but that shouldn’t be a probem and you can still upgrade to a non-branded version).

8. Privacy Policy – automatically adds a privacy policy page to your blog.

9. Thesis Open Hook (if you use Thesis, my favorite wordpress theme) – it is awesome and you can customize and modify Thesis easily without changing any code.

10. SEO smart links – it can automatically link keywords and phrases on your blog. Ideal to automatically create affiliate links for certain keywords.

11. Redirection – a wp plugin to manage link redirects and cloak affiliate links.

12. Wordpress Database Backup – backing up your blog regularly is very important, this wp backup plugin automatically creates back ups and sends them to your email address.
